Interesting Places In Malaysia
The Kuala Lumpur Butterfly Park is situated near the Lake Gardens. The park is an imitation of the butterfly's natural habitat and that's the tropical rainforest. The Butterfly Park houses some 6,000 butterflies of over 120 species. To create such a beautiful park they used over 15,000 plants and there are ponds.
Here you can learn about the life cycle and mating habit of the butterflies. There is a nursery and breeding area, as well as an insect museum to enhance your knowledge about these creepy-crawlers. Comprising the beautiful landscape are flower and fruit plants and some rare herbs essential in the diet and pollinating activities of the butterflies.
Contributing to the Butterfly Park's beautiful landscape is a uniquely designed hydro-pond built with a limestone path right in the centre. Surrounding this hydro-pond is a gazebo, commanding a breathtaking view.
