The light house is situated 17km south of Port Dickson,Negeri Sembilan. Formerly known as Cape Rachado. The light house is 130 years old which built by the Portugese in 1860 to help ships passing the harbour.
Built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, the lighthouse still holds vigil today. But the lighthouse is no longer just a vantage point to view trade or enemy ships sailing close to the coast. It now houses a revolving MEASAT Radar used for transmissions and communications.
To get to the top of the lighthouse, you must ascend a beautiful but narrow, spiral staircase with 72 steps. A stone staircase behind the lighthouse also makes access to the lighthouse easier. Once on top, you can enjoy an unobstructed 360-degree view of the coastline as well as the woodlands of the mainland.

Gua Kelam ( Cave Of Darkness )|Perlis|Malaysia
Interesting Places In Malaysia
Situated about 1 km from the town of Kaki Bukit which is northwest of Perlis. There is 370 metre long cave passage inside this cave. Gua Kelam is located within the Perlis State Park which borders with the Nakawan Range of Thailand. A wooden walkway suspended along the entire length of the well-lit passage allow visitors to view the formed stalagmites and stalactites.
The only path in is via a suspension wooden bridge made of an eight-feet wide wooden walkway. This bridge links Kaki Bukit to the Wan Tangga Valley, a valley on the opposite end of Gua Kelam. Back in 1935, an Englishman saw the water pathway as a brilliant method of transporting tin ore from a mine located near the stream entrance through the underground cavern to Kaki Bukit.
As you make your way through the cave, the sound of a swirling dark subterranean stream below reverberates forming a concerto with the squeaking bats and dripping water from the stalactites. It may sound a bit spooky, after all this was once the home of Stone Age men.
